It is important to have a strong introduction in your writing because they provide a first impression, they prepare your audience for what they are going to read and you want to hook your reader and have them interested.
Strong introduction gives it a a juicy hook and gives the author or whoever is reading it an idea of what the essay is going to be about. For example if your going to start off your essay give an insight of the prompt make sure the introduction is one sentence only it can’t be two sentences if you have to use commas do so but it has to be one sentence
