I've been asking my bio teacher to help me with a question on an assignment but his explanation is very confusing and not helping whatsoever. Would anyone mind help telling me why my answer is incorrect and what the correct answer is? This is his explanation of why it's wrong: Using the same picture circle the OH on one molecule and the H on the other (the one attaches to the O). Those are going to be removed to make water. Dehydration synthesis. BTW sorry this isn't college bio, its high school, sorry.
