The theme that is being shown is political power and revolution. This shows the act of how throughout the story, especially having the desire for power may lead to revolution and corruption of politics. The corruption is obvious in how they managed to publicly kick snowball out and although the animals remembered him like a good pig, the persuasive powers that squealer has convinces him otherwise. The last line illustrates how much power Napoleon holds when it says "If Comrade Napoleon says it, it must be right." shows how brainwashed he was able to make the other animals into believing every word he says. Although Snowball was an idealistic hero who was a key component in the revolution taking off and succeeding, because Napoleon said so, Snowball was "Jones's agent."
