Tbh what i do to warm up during the winter in florida bc it gets to like its 30s but yeah i grab like 7682321 (jk i grab a hoodie and a jacket) so yeah i also would take my gloves off and rub me hands togather a couple times.
sleeping in the garage is absolutely the worst btw literally no heating units. so i curled my self into a ball and waited... you really cant tell when your warm enough but your body knows it's limits, so when your body thinks its warm enough the ur warm

To warm up i stretch my legs and my arms. Formy legs, i do side lunges, touch my toes, legs swings, and knee hugs. For my arm i use a band internal and external rotation etc. After i do my stretching i start running at a slow pace then pick up my speed. I do side shuffles, karaoke, high knees( forward and sideways), and skips, Sometimes i will use my jumprope for about 5-10 minutes. I know when i have warmed up enough because im supposed to be sweating and out of breath.
