The frogs jump up and croak again.
They want more splashes of the rain.
The paddy field is a pool of mud.
The drought has turned into a flood.
The lightning strike and the thunder roar—
there is more to come of this downpour.
At last, the farmers have all come out.
We'll have rice for the winter, without a doubt.
