Answer:

More often that not, the answer is yes. I work at a school where students are just cutting and pasting their answers from brainly. This is very clearly cheating, and can have severe consequences for them — zeros on the assignments, potentially getting kicked out of my class and even kicked out of the school. If you are only using the site to try to help you understand the concept, then that is not considered cheating. I often encourage my students to supplement what I teach with outside resources like Khan Academy to help them better understand the mathematical concepts. Students need reinforcement and practice. A lot of times, they don’t take great notes. Resources like Khan Academy provides them with detailed explanations that they can watch at their convenience. Brainly *can* be used for this purpose, but more often than not, people post their homework or quiz questions there and just ask for people to solve them. If you are looking for the easy way out, and not a deeper understanding, it is cheating.
