Like many epic heroes, Beowulf faces many external conflicts and virtually no internal
conflicts. In your opinion, does this make him more or less sympathetic than the heroes of
today's stories? Explain your answer.
I would say yes because as you said he faces a lot of conflict along the way so i think it makes him more sympathetic because he actually cares about what's around him in his atmosphere
