Congnitve perspective is a learning theory that that entails and give a full explanation of all those secret processes that take place in the brain.

Constructivism is a learning theory which focuses of individual own experiences and we use the experiences from own to appreciate the happenings of the world.

Comparing and contrasting the three foundation theories based on the Inquiry-based Learning would lead us to knowing what inquiry based learning is.

Inquiry based learning is an active learning process that starts with identifying problems and asking questions. This type of learning is usually carried out by coordinators.

Constructivists believe that learners should construct their own knowledge  by using the experiences they have to build representations and construct a new information into an already existing one and NOT just accept information.

Behaviorists believe that all behavior are learned through interaction with the environment through a process called conditioning. This type studies changes that are observable and measurable in behavior.

Cognitivists believe that all information received by the mind are organized, stored and can be retrieved. Here, learners are actively involved in the way they process information. The mind is used as an information processor.
