Answer: It would depend on the person. If you were an American in the 1930's in th US you would propaby stand up for them.

If you were in other countries, you might have been afraid of the Germans and not wanted to get comfronted.

In my opinion I would put no. No I would not have the courage to stand up for the Jewish race. Many people in the 1930s didn't have the courage to do so as well, it could get you into major trouble which includes death. If you stood up for the Jewish race no one would bother hear you, they wouldn't give it a second thought and kill you depending on the situation. Or if the jewish people theirselves see you standing up for them, if they see you getting into trouble they would most likely just watch in horror because they wouldn't want to scarifice themselves either.
