When considering the Japanese internment camps of World War II, one can conclude that they were a violation of human and civil rights for many people. Many Japanese Americans were taken from their homes and placed into camps with horrible living conditions and 24 hour surveillance despite having not committed any crimes. There was no privacy, freedom, or semblance of a normal life. Those released from internment camps at the end of World War II, came back to find their homes and businesses dilapidated and deteriorated. Even after the war, there was still tension between Caucasian and Japanese people in America, and many Japanese Americans found themselves unable to return to a normal life.
