Feudalism is defined as a system of land ownership and duties. It was practiced in the middle ages. In feudalism, all the land in the kingdom belongs to the king. The three social classes of a feudal society are king, a noble class, which could be priests and princes and peasant class.

In feudal system, the king can use his discretion to share land with anyone, particular to his nobles who fought for him.
