They are used every day in life and a real number that is either rational or irrational so therefore, a real number is always going to be used everyday and even in harder mathematical problems all the time in high school and even when you go to college and get a job they are always being used a lot and sometimes people won't know when they are using a real number in a mathematical equation and that's OK because they are being used every single day of your life so don't be scared if you get a answer wrong to a equation because there are many more equations with real numbers in it but this is coming from a 9th grader lol that had so much trouble with real numbers but eventually got them and you will to I promise
