Whites in America forced Jim Crow Laws on minority citizens following the end of Reconstruction. What was the principle means by which they were able to accomplish this?

Respuesta :

Below are the choices that can be found elsewhere:

They enacted laws protecting whites from discrimination.
They made it nearly impossible for minorities to vote.
They desegregated all public and private businesses.
They were able to overturn the Fifteenth Amendment.

The answer is "They made it nearly impossible for minorities to vote." The Civil Rights Act of 1965 made voting possible for everyone. I hope it helps.

I believe the answer is: "They made it nearly impossible for minorities to vote."

At that time, it is almost impossible for minorities to obtain proper education due to their economic status. And yet they government require citizens to past some sort of literacy test before citizens can vote, which eliminate a very large portion of minorities voters.
