I need help as soon as possible!

It is nearly 5,000 years ago. You live in a small farming village in Mesopotamia. You are 35 years old, and are considered lucky to have lived so long. Life was hard 5,000 years ago and survival was never guaranteed. You are watching your children and grandchildren gather this year’s wheat crop. You know that the success of this year’s crop is due mostly to the canal that you helped build many years ago.

Write a short paragraph describing how village life has changed as a result of building the canal. In your response be sure to address the following:
• How did the canal help the farmers grow more wheat?
• How did having a food surplus impact life in the village?

Please, you will get first person who answers is the brainliest answer!!

The canal helped farmers get more wheat because of all of the fertile land by the canal. This helped a lot because Mesopotamians ate a lot of wheat. Next, food surplus impacted life in the village because they had more food to eat. If it was a bad growing season, you would be able to eat.
