1a. the Pilgrims and Puritans left Europe for the Americas because they wanted to practice their religious beliefs, free of persecution from the Britains. They were Protestant.
1b. The Pilgrims could have survived for maybe about a full generation without Squanto, but mostly likely no more than that. The Pilgrims were unfamiliar with the land and did not know the resources provided in America, therefore many of them starved or died of sickness during the harsh winter.
2a. The Church was one of the first buildings built when the Pilgrims landed in America. It was one of the most important pieces of themselves that couldnt be taken, one of the larger parts, because there was schooling, hospitals, marriage and funerals.
2b. Some colonists disagreed with the Leaders of Massachusetts because of their different views on religion, political and personal views.
