Transverse plane : This is an axial plane which divides the body into superior and inferior parts. It is perpendicular to sagittal plane.
Coronal plane : This is vertical plane which divides the body into anterior and posterior portions. It is anatomical plane which divides the body into ventral and dorsal sections.
