Otherwise, the contract could state you had to work for employers for free and you wouldn't have had any way in it.
I do not support ratification due to the limited opportunities that gives the ratificators to change the documents or treaties. Due to ratification allowing only limited rewriting of the document and not whole participation in the creation of it, the parties that only have ratification are at a disadvantage. Also, even if those parties at a disadvantage insist on levelling the field and succeed, it will often take a long period of time to change their disadvantage little by little.
