The array can be taken as the rows.

If we take the first side as the length denoted by L and the second side as breadth denoted by B.

Then the area can be obtained as

length × breadth

All squares arranged in a single row.

  • 12 ×2= 24

12 squares arranged in 2 rows.

(r²+3 )× 2= 24

  • 8 ×3= 24
