People should have real world consequences for what they post on social media.
If there were no real world consequences for what people post on social media then people would be allowed to bully people online which over time leads to the deterioration of one's mental health.
So you would punish somebody because they "Bully people online"?
Yes because over time talking down on someone could lead to the deterioration of one's mental health. If you look at the statistics teenagers who spend a lot of time on social media also happen to have the highest sui cide rates of all ages of people. So yes I would "would punish somebody" who is helping contribute to the death of people.
In your teenage years, children's self esteem is low and for another person to come and say that all of the things that the person think of them selves is true is enough to push some teenagers over into depression and/or killing one's self.
Our teenagers are committing sui cide over bullying, cyber bullying is the easiest and most effective way that a person can bully another person due to the fact that the victim doesn't know who the attacker is.
