There are three types of triangle based on the length of the sides: equilateral, isosceles, and scalene. An equilateral triangle is a triangle with all three sides of equal length , corresponding to what could also be known as a "regular" triangle. This property is equivalent to two angles of the triangle being equal. An isosceles triangle therefore has both two equal sides and two equal angles. A scalene triangle is a triangle in which all three sides have different lengths. Also the angles of a scalene triangle have different measures.
