P- paranthese
E- exponents
M- multiplication
D- division
A- addition
S- subtraction
focus on the paranthese first: -(x-2) multiply -1 by x - 2 (hint: -2 is a negative. a negative times a negative is a positive and a negative times a positive is a negative.)
once you get your answer you want to make sure that y is by itself (bc y=mx+b) so want to get rid of that -10. (What number [added or subrated by] -10 equals 0?) once you get that answer, do the same to the other side and you have your answer.
