Explanatory Essay Writing
An essay is a means to explore a topic in detail. An explanatory essay is written to inform the reader about a topic. The introductory paragraph introduces the topic, and the first sentence is the topic sentence. Each of the next three sentences introduces one of the subtopics. The concluding sentence sums up the introductory paragraph. This is also where you might offer a personal opinion. Each body paragraph should consist of at least five sentences: an introductory sentence, three information sentences, and one concluding sentence. The concluding paragraph sums up the information presented in the body of the essay. You can include a personal opinion here as well.
