I hot dog could be a sandwich because it’s two bread with meat In side, I dont think it’s a sandwich because a bun is one piece of bread.

well in a hot dog there's meat in the middle of two buns like a sandwich and the bun is the same as a sandwich roll so to an extent a hot dog is in fact a sandwich.
