Between 1915 and 1945, the United States went through World War I, the booming 1920s, the Great Depression of the 1930s, and World
War II. Although this time period was traumatic for many Americans, it also transformed the US identity. Think of the 1920s in contrast with
the Great Depression of the 1930s. Which of these two time periods do you think has had a bigger impact on the development of US society,
either from a political or cultural viewpoint? Explain why.

I think the Great Depression in the 1920s had the biggest impact. People had to adjust to a whole knew way of living. People had to become more self reliant upon themselves and learn different skills they were not accustomed to. People did not have the usual amounts of food there bodies were used to and had to eat cheaper options that were less nourishment.
