this was signed into law by President Bill Clinton on September 21, 1969. it basically states that all cabs DOMA space is a law that declares a non-recognition of same-sex marriage for all federal purposes this means that many of the federal benefits opposite-sex couples enjoy the federal government are not provide to same-sex couples.
