I see what you're saying but you will still feel pain since you have nerves, disconnecting them with cause you discomfort, and you'll lose blood, which will in fact hurt.
It will hurt when it’s getting cut off and still hurts because you cut the stuff in that part that will make it hurt. And then it will probably go numb and die because lack of blood or something
