They lost all of their shelter. They lost their living area. All the farmers were very happy because they thought if the rain has started so heavily, there crops would grow more beautifully. Many people were drowned or taken away by the rain. Many people had lost some of their family members. There were kids that had lost their mom and maybe even their dad. The first rain of the year had brought much suffering upon the people of the land.
