A galaxy refers to a collection (group) of several billions of stars and interstellar matter, that are existing independently and by themselves in space. Thus, the largest (greatest) number of stars are found in a galaxy.
Based on astronomical records, the universal space comprises two (2) main components and these include the following:
- Stars
- Planets
In conclusion, we can deduce that the components of a galaxy that exist in the space between the stars are stars and planets because they are made up of two (2) interstellar hot gases, which include:
