All 3 angles add up to 180 degrees...if one angle is 88 degrees, the other 2 together must add up to 92. The diagram shows that the other 2 angles are the same, so divide 92 in half (2 equal parts)...92/2=46.
So both of the other angles (y) measure 46 degrees.
