Revise - After pre-writing and drafting, this is your opportunity to go back and look at your response (formal or informal). Rewrite your response focusing on: content structure, idea development, sentence fluency, strong word choice, voice, and convenctions (grammar!!). Reread the question or prompt. Did you answer the prompt in its entirety? Look at the checklist. Did you include all the necessary parts and pieces? Look at the rubric. How would you grade yourself based on the rubric and grading criteria? This is the step that gets graded by your teacher. So, be sure you have worked through all of the steps along the way to ensure the best possible grade.
Submit - Turn it in.
