The ratio of men to women in the astronomy club is 3 to 2. The club has
60 members. How many club members are women?

Plus the two parts if the ratio 3+2 so 5
Divide the 60 members by 5 and get 12
12 is one part of the ratio
12x2 is 24 so 24 woman
24

Because you divide 5 by 60 to find out how much 1 is equal too which is twelve so 1=12 and because there is two for women it’s 12+12 which is 24
