Harvesting Wheat

When it rains,
water mixed with the wind
shoves the green
that sways.
Green waves in the wheat field
create ripples
sprinkled with gold.
The farmers wait
for the days of harvest.
The crows wait
for the fallen grains.
They watch each other
with eagle eyes—
the prey and the victim,
waiting for treasure hunt.
