Hmm... I don't know much about lice but I do know you don't want to just leave them alone as they feed on blood which if left too long they can cause some pretty bad problems. Wet combing is one way to help get rid of lice. Simply wetting the hair and using a fine-tooth comb, after combing the hair a lot of active lice and their eggs should be removed.
Also, I have seen people put plastic shower caps over their head after massaging coconut oil in the hair... after 8 hours the lice should be suffocated.
