Both traditional journalism and photojournalism are media tools that aim to inform citizens. What differs is the language code used. While journalism uses writing as its main tool through texts, photojournalism uses illustrations and images to co-corroborate information. Thus, through photojournalism the reader can inform himself through the images. For example, a football match can be narrated through traditional writing, or through pictures of key moments in the game, such as goals and celebration. In either case, the caller was able to extract information about the game.
