Absolutely !
We never see it happen. Whenever we see a moving object, if we
don't see any force acting on it to keep it going, it always stops !
That's why it's so hard to understand Newton's laws of motion.
The truth is: It doesn't take ANY force for an object to keep moving,
in a straight line at the same speed.
What DOES take force is if you want to CHANGE the object's motion ...
speed it up, slow it down, or change the direction it's going.
All of those changes are called "acceleration", and you need force
to make any of them happen.
