Why is it important to avoid the overuse of the word I in an autobiographical piece? A. It detracts from the main idea of the piece.
B. It eliminates the possibility of using extensive description.
C. It prevents the writer from introducing other characters into the narrative.
D. It focuses the narrative too exclusively on the narrator.

Respuesta :

I'm gonna say D on this one. D because if I was reading a book about someone's life and they overused the word 'I', I would immediately become disinterested because it would feel as though the person is self-centered.

It is important to avoid the overuse of the word I in an autobiographical piece becuase it focuses the narrative too exclusively on the narrator. Option D.

With a repeated employment of the word I in an autobiographical piece would result in a extremely repetitive piece with a very poor English.

What is more, the reader would not find the text very attractive or interesting.
