caption found on the food products. It describes that some of the ingredients of
the product are produced by organisms that have been genetically modified (direct
manipulation of DNA to insert or delete genes). For example, when you buy a jam made
of corn syrup it might have “partially produced
with genetic engineering” because
it is made of genetically modified corn.
