1. Describe how the Pan Americn Games were established.
Representatives of Mexico, Cuba and Guatemala suggested holding games for just the Americas, to the Olympic Congress in 1920. In 1926 Mexico hosted the first Centeral American Games, but other Latin American representatives wanted to include all the Americas in the games. So, the first Pan American Games were held in 1951, in the capital city of Argentina.
