D because there is less salt inside the cell so water will move out in order to create an isotonic solution so the cells will shrivel

The concentration of the water added by Bob is higher than that of the rose cells. When the rose cells are exposed to the water having more salt concentration, the rose cell transfer water molecules out of the cells. As a result of water transfer out of the cell, the cells shriveled.
