Explanation: I believe that this is an understatement, because, this women raised, took care of, and protected this person. I always thought when a person has a child, that's their choice. But, maybe they think they made the wrong choice, and in doing so, decide they no longer want this child. Just because you are a biological parent, does not make their mom or dad.
