read from the firsthand account of Equiano. How do you think they are similar? Do you
feel that Equiano explained with words what you saw in the movie? If so, in what way?
Firsthand accounts are descriptions of a certain event by a person who was there and experienced the event, secondhand events are when the person telling or describing the story didn't live though or experience the event.
