The Scandinavian Peninsula is a peninsula located in northeastern Europe, between the Baltic Sea and the Norwegian Sea. Most of its surface is occupied by Norway and Sweden. The name Scandinavia is derived from Scania, a region at the southern tip of the peninsula.
