In 1984, by George Orwell is Big Brother an actual person? Or is he a non-existent person, that represents the Party? I read the book, but I’m still not completely sure, because O’Brien uses doublethink to say Big Brother both exists and doesn’t exist.

There’s ideas to suggest that he does abs doesn’t exist but I think he’s a non existent person that represents the party
