The heat of the earths mantle is estimated to be between 1000-3700 degrees celcius, and the earths core is estimated to be higher than 5200 degrees Celsius so even if the higher end estimates are true for the mantle it wouldn’t affect the answer.
Also the fact the core is closer to the center of the earth it ends up being hotter due to the pressure being higher the lower you go as the ground below has to carry more weight above.
