The Winter Season brings the seasonal Changes that can cause a plant to dry out. Which is also known as Shedding of Leaves.

There are many plants which shed leaves at different seasons such as Autumn, Dry and Winter Season. So Drying out of Plants are based on two things biology and environment, For example Evergreen Forest does not dry out, but deciduous plants do.
Hence, we can say that seasons like Autumn, Dry, and Winter season can cause a plant to dry out. But normally it is in Winter season when most of the trees sheds their leaves, and completely become dry.
