Explain two of the factors involving the brain, genes and/or culture that might influence whether the security guard interprets the running man as a threat and shoots or as a scared bank customer and doesn’t shoot.

The brain of the security guard starts to remember training and goes into a state where it focuses on achieving and defending the bank. Seeing the man with an unidentified object makes the brain think of the safety as well as the achievement of defending the bank. This will make the security guard to stop the man.
