Languages, coming in different shapes, symbols, and meanings, may often seem like barriers between peoples. However, over the centuries, we have learned that language has never stopped the learning and trading of cultures,  ideas, and goods. Travelers on the Silk Road have communicated, regardless of their Saxon and Tibetan linguistic differences, and that pattern can still be seen today in global trading. Using passions of education, curiosity, and the immersion of cultures, we can continue to learn about the people around us through the languages of human kind, and create bridges between nations and those who we may not understand.  

The speech on the topic titled "Language should Build Bridges not create borders" would be as follows:

What is Speech?

  • Speech is characterized as the session of long oral speaking to express a thought or message among the public.
  • In association with the given topic, the speech would be framed of three major sections:
  1. Introduction
  2. Main Body
  3. Conclusion
  • The key information that the students can include would be that "Language is a medium of communication that allows people to exchange their thoughts and interact with others."
  • This should act as a bridge among people and help develop connections between them across the globe irrespective of cultural or social differences instead of acting as a barrier to separate or segregate them.
