Adhesion : The physical attraction or joining of two substances, especially the macroscopically observable attraction of dissimilar substances.(eg:- particles of glass and water exert adhesive force on each other). Cohesion : cohesion describes particles that are the same and tend to stick together — water molecules, for example. Surface tension : the tension of the surface film of a liquid caused by the attraction of the particles in the surface layer by the bulk of the liquid, which tends to minimize surface area. Capillary : A tube which has internal diameter of hair like thickness. Strength : Strength of materials, ability to withstand an applied stress without failure.
