Justin is considering two websites for downloading music.The costs are detailed here.

Website 1: a yearly fee of $30 and $1.50 for each download

Website 2: $2 for each download

What is a system of equations to represent the costs for one year?

Express your equations in the form of y=mx+by=mx+b where x is the number of downloads for the year and y is the total cost for the year.

For website 1 has a yearly fee of $30 and $1.50 per download the total cost

Y = 1.50x + 30

For website 2, $ 2 for each download and no annual like the website 1, the total cost

Y = 2x

your answer is

website 1 :    y=1.5x+30

website 2 :   y = 2x

if u put 1.50 then it will mark u wrong bc thats what happened to me it will also mark you wrong if u only put 1.5x+30 and 2x bc u need to put the y= in front of each answer bc it marked me wrong when i didnt and then when i took the test again it marked me right when i put the y= in front of the answer

hope this helps u guys :)
