Hammurabi's code is a set of some of the first known laws to man. This was in ancient Mesopotamia in the Nebuchadnezzar era. About 30 years before him. These laws were for example, "An eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth." Hammurabi Came up with these laws to protect and civilize people of the ancient world.
